Thanks for all of the great company, riveting stories, nautical hijinks, musical influence and general hard doing along the way. High end ukulele procurement and musical inspiration for my offspring.
You gave us Club Dead - the retired funeral parlour on Ponsonby road so I had a venue for my 30th birthday. 160,000 corpses went through there before us. Well we had some good times in there thank you old friend. You could mix it up with the best of them and still be the last man standing without breaking a sweat. A true craftsman with everything you touched. Will miss our coffee catch ups down at Roberta or at our work. The coffee machines always got a look in and the whole science broken down and discussed. You helped me bury my dog on a Saturday afternoon and deal with the impact of the sudden death of a good dog.
Rum races were always better when you were on board our vessel.
Looking forward to giving you a proper send off once we're out of this covid business.
We're missing you already Malcolm
Go easy maestro.
xx
